About the Role
As a Distribution Electrical Designer you will work side‑by‑side with experts to support power infrastructure, contributing to community thriving and industry expansion. This position offers the chance to drive infrastructure forward, power innovation and leave a mark on the energy future. • Support GIS tasks for electrical design projects • Assist as an Electrical Designer using ArcGIS or similar GIS software • Design and produce cartographic products for various purposes • Perform data input and editing of spatial data using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online • Conduct spatial analyses using ArcGIS or comparable tools • Prepare spatial databases for projects and manage routine database tasks • Support field data collection using ArcGIS Online apps and manage associated data • Prepare documented technical procedures

What You Bring
• Preferred: Experience in medium voltage electrical design • Preferred: Previous experience using RUS electrical standards • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Planning, Engineering, Natural Science or a related field, or equivalent experience • Required: Minimum of 3 years practical GIS experience • Required: Proficiency with ArcGIS and related GIS software for editing, database development, and map production • Required: Strong cartographic skills • Required: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Apps • Required: Attention to detail, effective time management, ability to work independently or in a team, and excellent written and oral communication skills
