About the Role
The Senior Account Executive role will drive consultative sales of energy infrastructure solutions to municipal, university, school, and hospital (MUSH) agencies across the North Region, leveraging expertise in ESPC and other contract vehicles to identify opportunities, guide customers through compliance with energy and decarbonization goals, and manage the full sales funnel. The position also involves leading competitive RFP/RFQ responses, coordinating internal strategies, mentoring junior AEs, and maintaining post‑sale account relationships. • Sell energy infrastructure solutions to MUSH sector agencies via ESPC and other long‑term contracts. • Educate customers on contract vehicles to uncover new business opportunities. • Influence buying decisions and propose solutions meeting energy and decarbonization policies. • Represent NORESCO at conferences, trade associations, and industry events. • Manage the sales funnel to meet strategic business objectives. • Lead development of competitive RFP/RFQ responses and capture win themes. • Coordinate internal strategy sessions to pursue government opportunities. • Mentor junior account executives. • Serve as customer advocate throughout sales, development, and implementation phases. • Maintain post‑sale relationships to drive additional business and support customer goals.

What You Bring
The role requires at least seven years of experience selling to the MUSH sector, strong knowledge of government ESPC processes, and the ability to present to C‑level and public decision‑makers; a bachelor's degree and ten years of ESPC experience are preferred. Compensation includes a base salary plus commission, short‑term cash incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package covering health, retirement, paid time off, and various supplemental accounts. • Minimum High School Diploma or GED; 7+ years selling to municipal, university, school, or hospital sectors. • 5+ years experience selling to C‑level targets in energy management consulting or design‑build markets. • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in MUSH ESPC, energy consulting, or design‑build. • Experience presenting to city councils, school boards, and public forums. • Understanding of public procurement processes and standard building conservation measures. • Knowledge of water/wastewater, commercial, and industrial markets. • Experience mentoring sales representatives.
