About the Role
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine material locations, quantities, and sizes. • Identify required tools and assess safety risks, implementing necessary precautions. • Fabricate equipment according to drawings or supervisor instructions. • Hoist equipment and tools to position using bull rigging or crane. • Verify vertical and horizontal alignment of structural steel members with plumb bobs, lasers, transits, or levels. • Connect columns, beams, and girders with bolts as directed by blueprints. • Secure aligned steel members for permanent riveting or bolting. • Position iron/steel components by pulling, pushing, or prying into place. • Cut, bend, and weld steel pieces using shears, torches, and welding equipment.

What You Bring
ZACHRY is seeking an experienced Maintenance Industrial NCCER Boilermaker for ExxonMobil Beaumont in Beaumont, Texas, and notes that no per diem is offered. Candidates must have at least four years of NCCER Boilermaker experience with exchanger work, possess all required knowledge, skills, and abilities, be able to meet the physical demands, work at heights over 300 ft, and have their own tools and reliable transportation. Applicants should be a current or former Zachry employee, hold NCCER certification for Industrial Journeyman Carpenter, and have a formal or technical education. The role requires extensive standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 lb, work at heights using ladders, platforms, or man‑lifts, and strict adherence to PPE and fall‑protection protocols.
