About the Role
The Electrical Technician role maintains, installs, and troubleshoots all aspects of electrical infrastructure in assigned facilities. Responsibilities include operating, inspecting, and maintaining equipment to achieve efficient performance, extend service life, and minimize downtime while ensuring safety and energy efficiency. • Maintain, install, and troubleshoot electrical infrastructure and equipment in assigned facilities. • Operate and inspect electrical systems to maximize efficiency, safety, and equipment lifespan. • Plan, assemble, test, and repair electrical apparatus, control equipment, and wiring per blueprints and schematics. • Diagnose and resolve wiring or motor issues; document work in real‑time CMMS. • Interact with clients and maintenance staff to determine safe, compliant solutions. • Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.

What You Bring
Daily duties require knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and control building systems, as well as planning and executing assembly, installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of apparatus such as generators, panels, drives, circuit breakers, transformers, and alarms. The technician reads blueprints and schematics, diagnoses wiring and motor issues, interacts with clients and maintenance staff, uses hand and power tools safely, and records all work in real time using the CMMS. The position involves physically demanding work in confined spaces, roofs, and heights, with on‑call responsibilities 24 hours a day and potential overtime. Employees must be able to lift up to 80 lb, climb ladders, and work in extreme temperature conditions, while also being prepared for extended driving and travel as needed. Required qualifications include a valid state driver’s license, a Journeyman electrician or state license, a high school diploma or equivalent, at least four years of electrical trade education, and five or more years of field experience. Candidates must understand OSHA, NEC, NFPA standards, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and be willing to obtain additional OEM certifications and travel up to 25 percent of the time. Preferred experience encompasses knowledge of overall MEP system design, proficiency with CMMS work‑order management, and service experience in commercial and industrial facilities. Certifications in electric vehicle charger maintenance, infrared scanning, solar power, battery systems, and experience in planned shutdowns or data‑center environments are advantageous. • Possess a valid driver’s license and Journeyman electrician (or state) license. • Minimum 4 years electrical trade education and 5+ years field experience; knowledge of OSHA, NEC, NFPA. • Strong communication, teamwork, and professional presentation skills. • Willingness to obtain OEM certifications (EV chargers, IR scanning, solar) and travel up to 25% nationwide. • Preferred: MEP system design knowledge, CMMS work‑order management, experience with EV charger, solar, battery, data‑center environments. • Physical demands include confined‑space work, heights, lifting up to 80 lb, climbing ladders, and exposure to extreme temperatures.
