Job Highlights
About the Role
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for airside and landside airport works, including runways, taxiways, aprons, terminals, and utilities. • Develop quantity take‑offs from drawings, BIM/CAD models, and specifications. • Coordinate with design teams to validate scope and quantities across disciplines. • Analyze rate schedules and benchmark costs to create cost models. • Produce Bills of Quantities and pricing sheets for concept, tender, and EPC phases. • Evaluate contractor proposals and verify costs for competitive pricing. • Support bid analysis and provide procurement recommendations. • Identify cost risks and value‑engineering opportunities to optimize budgets. • Develop cost‑control strategies aligned with airport construction constraints and phasing. • Assist with project budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting, and cost reporting throughout design and construction. • Communicate regular financial updates and insights to project stakeholders.

What You Bring
AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Costing & Estimation Expert with 10–12 years of experience to join our aviation team for a 24‑month assignment. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering and has extensive experience preparing cost estimates for airside and landside works in the aviation sector. The role involves quantity take‑offs, cost modeling, bid analysis, and cost‑control strategies to ensure efficient and accurate project delivery. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Transportation, or related engineering. • 10–12 years of cost estimation and quantity surveying experience, specifically on airport projects. • Proven expertise in estimating airside and landside infrastructure and utilities.
