About the Role
The Senior Client Accountant (CRE) is responsible for all phases of accounting using established principles, including financial reporting for clients, projects, or business units, analysis, assistance with budgeting, and general ledger maintenance, while providing leadership within the accounting team. Essential duties include full‑cycle accounting, cash management, accounts payable and receivable, accruals, and bank reconciliations, as well as preparing timely financial reporting packages that meet internal controls and client requirements. The role also involves researching and communicating complex accounting issues, collaborating with clients and facility management, applying company policies, and supporting internal and external audits. Experience with retail properties and tenant lease clauses is preferred. Supervisory responsibilities involve leading, assigning, and delegating tasks to Client Accounting Managers, assistants, senior accountants, coordinators, and interns, coordinating project team efforts to meet deadlines, and providing solutions to routine or complex problems. • Perform full‑cycle accounting, including analysis, AP/AR, accruals, and bank reconciliations. • Prepare accurate financial reporting packages in line with internal controls and client requirements. • Research, analyze, and communicate complex accounting issues, escalating when necessary. • Collaborate promptly with clients and facility management to address accounting needs. • Lead and delegate tasks to accounting team members, coordinating project deadlines. • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation. • Maintain fixed‑asset ledgers, ensuring proper capitalization and depreciation. • Calculate and record straight‑line rent and manage tenant tax/CAM escalations. • Utilize Yardi Real Estate software and MS Office for efficient reporting. • Apply analytical, detail‑oriented, and customer‑focused competencies daily.

What You Bring
The position requires a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and at least five years of relevant experience. Preferred knowledge includes Yardi Real Estate software and strong MS Office proficiency. Core competencies are analytical thinking, attention to detail, oral and written communication, customer focus, financial management, independent judgment, relationship management, results orientation, and time management.

Benefits
Compensation ranges from $80,750 to $95,000 and includes a comprehensive benefits package such as health, vision, dental, flexible spending, HSA, retirement, life and disability insurance, and paid/unpaid time off.
