About the Role
Current opportunity: Traveling Journeyman Electrician. The role involves installing electrical systems in commercial construction markets at job sites and small/medium project locations, supervising assigned helper/apprentice electricians, and promoting excellent customer relations by interacting with customers, determining their needs, and providing solutions. The electrician reports to the project worksite on time, applies basic electrical and construction principles, and completes work in accordance with national and local codes as well as company policies. Daily tasks include loading materials, digging trenches, pulling wire, measuring, cutting, bending, threading, and installing conduit, as well as splicing and connecting wires to fixtures and equipment. Safety and quality are emphasized; the electrician follows the safety policy, keeps the job site clean, prepares sketches or follows blueprints for concealed wiring, and ensures installations minimize waste and meet specifications. Additional duties include troubleshooting systems, repairing faulty equipment, observing equipment functionality, and performing other tasks as assigned. • Report to the worksite on time and ready to work. • Supervise and coordinate assigned helper/apprentice electricians. • Load materials, dig trenches, and pull wire through conduit. • Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit. • Splice wires by stripping insulation, twisting or soldering, and securing with caps or tape. • Connect wiring to lighting fixtures, power equipment, and control/distribution apparatus. • Install switches, relays, circuit‑breaker panels, and grounding leads. • Prepare sketches or follow blueprints for wiring layout and concealed installations. • Troubleshoot services, feeders, and branch circuits. • Observe installed equipment for hazards and adjust or replace as needed. • Keep the job site clean and free of clutter. • Complete required paperwork, including timecards, and adhere to safety policies.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least four years of experience in electrical project installations, reliable transportation, a valid state driver’s license with a clear record, and applicable state certification.
