About the Role

As a Quality Inspector at nVent Management Company, you will join a hard‑working team delivering top‑tier electrical and data‑center solutions. The role involves inspecting products against work instructions, checklists and drawings, identifying non‑conforming items, generating NCRs, and confirming that no open NCRs remain before release. You will also apply a variety of precision gauges and measurement tools while maintaining efficiency and meeting departmental goals. • Perform comprehensive product inspections using work instructions, checklists, and drawings. • Prioritize tasks per Operations Supervisor guidance to meet departmental goals. • Identify non‑conforming products and generate Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs). • Verify no active NCRs exist before completing inspections. • Use precision and non‑precision gauges, meters, and testing devices to assess compliance. • Apply Quality System/ISO procedures and documentation. • Operate a variety of test and measurement equipment with accuracy. • Communicate findings clearly across functional areas. • Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for reporting and data tracking.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED and has at least one year of experience with quality processes and Quality Management Systems. Proficiency with precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, CMMs and optical comparators is required, as is the ability to coordinate workload independently and communicate effectively across functions. Strong attention to detail, math and geometry skills, and competence with Microsoft Office complete the profile. • Meet required qualifications: high school diploma/GED and at least one year of quality experience. • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, math, geometry, and problem‑solving skills.
