Janitor - 2nd Shift (Part-Time)

About the Role

The Janitor is responsible for general cleaning tasks throughout the facility and for maintaining cleaning‑supplies inventory levels. This includes cleaning and sanitizing cafeterias, break areas, bathrooms, hallways, and other areas, as well as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers. Additional duties involve organizing closets and storage spaces, preparing cleaning solutions, tracking the use of chemicals, paints, and supplies, and communicating supply utilization to request replenishment through established procedures. The role also requires maintaining recycle bins and trash, performing periodic deep cleaning of offices and break rooms, and conducting exterior cleaning of the building, windows, grounds, and parking lot in all weather conditions. • Clean and sanitize cafeterias, break areas, bathrooms, hallways, and other facility zones • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; operate vacuums, floor scrubbers, and other cleaning equipment • Organize and maintain closets, storage areas, recycle bins, and trash containers • Prepare cleaning solutions and track usage of chemicals, paints, and supplies • Communicate supply utilization and request replenishment per plant procedures • Perform periodic deep cleaning of offices, break rooms, and assigned areas • Conduct exterior cleaning of building, windows, grounds, and parking lot in all weather • Complete assigned tasks promptly and follow all safety and regulatory guidelines • Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies

What You Bring

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least six months of facilities/janitorial experience, basic computer skills (Microsoft Office), and the ability to work with limited supervision while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. Candidates must be able to read and write English and reside within 50 miles of the Reno, NV facility, unless they are active‑duty military; no relocation assistance is offered. • Require high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months janitorial experience • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) and ability to work with limited supervision • Must reside within 50 mi of Reno, NV (exempt for active‑duty military) and be proficient in English
