About the Role
KBR’s National Security Solutions team delivers high‑end engineering and advanced technology solutions to intelligence and national security customers. The Sr Operations Research / Systems Analyst will support the Test Resource Management Center’s Big Data and Knowledge Management team, influencing defense system design and space defense across the Department of Defense. • Support data‑driven decision analysis for DoD test and evaluation using machine learning, operations research, and advanced analytics. • Develop, operationalize, and demonstrate CHEETAS and other analytics tools; create notebooks, reports, and visualizations in Python, R, Jupyter, RShiny/Dash. • Provide analytic consulting, workflow optimization, and user training to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. • Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders, delivering data products, answering requirements, and gathering feature requests. • Maintain and run analysis tools on Windows, Linux, and containerized environments; troubleshoot in secure, offline networks. • Travel up to 50 % to support end users at DoD labs and ranges; remote work from home or a KBR office when not onsite.

Standard working hours apply, and the analyst may be the sole on‑site support member when providing user assistance. • Hold an active TS/SCI clearance and an advanced degree in a quantitative field with 12+ years of relevant experience. • Proficient in Python, R, SQL, Jupyter, interactive dashboards, time‑series and geospatial analytics, and reproducible research practices. • Effectively communicate insights orally and in writing, present to large groups, and document repeatable procedures. • Preferred: 12+ years DoD experience, military ORSA background, familiarity with JADC2, JSF, TENA, JMETC, and DoD cybersecurity policies.

Benefits
