About the Role

The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building, as well as installing and servicing automated packaging and distribution equipment. Day‑to‑day duties include promoting a safe work environment, completing preventative maintenance with proper documentation, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems on material handling equipment such as belts, motors, photo‑eyes, and relays, maintaining positive relationships across the facility, tracking inventory, and traveling up to 20% of the time. JLL utilizes AI to match candidates with roles and maintains a robust privacy policy to protect applicant data throughout the recruitment process. • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on material handling equipment, documenting work in the CMMS. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on conveyors, belts, motors, sensors, and relays. • Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution systems. • Mentor junior technicians and foster teamwork across the Operations facility. • Manage inventory of tools and parts, ensuring accurate tracking.

What You Bring

Required qualifications are a high school diploma or equivalent, flexible schedule availability (including weekends, nights, and holidays), and at least two years of experience repairing material handling equipment and conducting predictive and preventative maintenance. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree in mechanical or electrical fields, experience with automated conveyor systems, blueprint and schematic reading, and familiarity with CMMS and robotic operations. The role demands physical activity such as bending, crouching, lifting parts up to an average of 20 lb (occasionally 49 lb), and standing or walking for shifts up to 12 hours, often in small spaces, dusty or noisy environments, and on concrete surfaces.
