About the Role

The SCM Manager creates and implements the Tender Sourcing Plan (TSP) based on client tender specifications and global sourcing strategy, transforms it into a Project Procurement Plan (PPP) during execution, and ensures price, quality and delivery targets are met. Key duties include collaborating with tender and capture teams, identifying sourcing opportunities, qualifying suppliers, issuing budgets and schedules, leading purchase reviews, providing risk‑review data, monitoring cost‑reduction targets, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and sustainability policies. • Develop and issue Tender Sourcing Plan (TSP) aligned with client specifications and global sourcing strategy. • Convert TSP into Project Procurement Plan (PPP) and manage procurement deliverables for price, quality, and delivery. • Participate in tender and capture meetings to identify sourcing opportunities and critical commercial/legal conditions. • Qualify and onboard suppliers/sub‑contractors, ensuring quotations remain valid until purchase order issuance. • Lead purchase review committees, assess risks and define mitigation actions. • Provide sourcing data for risk reviews and monthly SCM reports to BU SCM Manager. • Monitor and report cost‑reduction, cost‑avoidance, and TCI targets against group and project goals. • Ensure project compliance with health, safety, environmental, and sustainability policies.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, business administration or a related field, have at least five years of project‑focused supply‑chain experience (including three years in procurement of specialised equipment), possess strong commercial and legal knowledge, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and be proficient in English. • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, business administration or related discipline. • Minimum 5 years supply‑chain experience in T&D projects, with at least 3 years procurement of tailored equipment. • Strong knowledge of industrial contract processes and commercial/legal aspects of purchasing. • Proven negotiation and communication skills; ability to interface with multiple internal and external stakeholders. • Fluent in written and spoken English.
