About the Role

Associates will manage infrastructure project and programme lifecycles, overseeing contract and budget administration, schedule control, benefits alignment, and health, safety, quality and environmental compliance, including practical application of CDM regulations. They will also prepare and present status reports, create and modify programme plans, and ensure delivery against client objectives. • Manage and modify project/programme plans across the full infrastructure lifecycle. • Lead and develop teams, addressing capability gaps in challenging environments. • Engage with diverse stakeholders to build trusted advisor relationships. • Apply health, safety, quality, environmental and CDM standards on all projects. • Deliver solutions under pressure, meeting client objectives, budgets and schedules. • Oversee procurement activities and manage NEC contracts and contractor performance. • Promote inclusive, creative, and growth‑focused workplace culture. • Support SOX control responsibilities where required.

What You Bring

The role requires strong leadership to develop teams and address capability gaps, excellent interpersonal and stakeholder‑management skills to build trusted advisor relationships, and solid analytical and numerical abilities to solve complex problems. Candidates must demonstrate effective communication, the capacity to manage multiple work streams simultaneously, a creative and growth‑mindset, and a commitment to fostering inclusive environments. Applicants should hold a degree in a management, construction or infrastructure‑related discipline or possess equivalent experience, along with professional affiliation to bodies such as APM or ICE and project‑management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP). Beneficial experience includes procurement, NEC contracts, managing contractors and consultants, consultancy or client‑side project management, and familiarity with public‑sector organisations. Relevant certifications such as NEC accreditations, CSCS, or similar are also advantageous. • Hold a relevant degree or equivalent experience, plus professional memberships (APM, ICE). • Hold project management certifications such as PRINCE2, MSP, or equivalent.
