About the Role
This is a lead position that can develop into a Senior Category Manager for the right candidate, engaging with internal and external stakeholders and leaders. The role involves developing and implementing category strategies, managing teams on specific workstreams, and delivering on time, to expectation, and to target KPIs. The successful candidate will be responsible for category management, relationship management, supervising daily team activities, conducting due diligence, creating value through process, performance, and commercial activity, developing and implementing plans, and coordinating team activities. The role also includes managing teams, driving performance, delivering performance management, technical development, coaching, and collaborating towards the net‑zero carbon transition, sharing responsibility for identifying and managing associated carbon emissions and reductions during delivery. • Supervise daily team activities and achieve targets • Conduct due diligence and develop market understanding • Create value through process, performance, and commercial activity • Develop and implement plans • Coordinate team activities and provide support • Manage teams, drive performance, and deliver coaching • Collaborate on net‑zero carbon transition and manage emissions reductions
