About the Role
The Sr. Project Engineer will oversee and execute project controls for multi‑disciplinary EPC projects, handling installed quantity monitoring, contract administration, planning, scheduling, procurement, and reporting. The role requires interfacing with clients, engineering, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project management to ensure project status is effectively communicated. • Represent the company professionally in all client interactions and provide required contract reports. • Champion corporate safety initiatives, develop site‑specific safety plans, and lead safety meetings and JSA reviews. • Create and maintain quantity calculation formulas, work plans, and the master project schedule. • Manage daily labor timesheets, material deliveries, procurement status reports, and purchase order reviews. • Perform complex engineering calculations, technical drafting, and material takeoffs to support field operations. • Supervise field engineers, subcontractors, and office staff; mentor and lead direct reports. • Oversee project recordkeeping, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and as‑built data generation. • Control project costs, forecast budgets, monitor productivity metrics, and maintain cash‑flow forecasts. • Lead the budgeting process from estimate to standard phase codes and alert management to cost trends. • Prepare schedule of values and invoices in compliance with prime contract provisions. • Provide constructability reviews and cost‑saving recommendations during design phases.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field. • Minimum of 7 years experience as a field engineer or comparable role. • Strong knowledge of health and safety programs; able to lead safety initiatives on site. • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents. • Demonstrated leadership, delegation, and team‑building abilities. • Willingness to travel up to 90% and relocate for extended project assignments (6‑12 months). • Physical capability to work 12‑hour shifts, lift up to 50 lb, and operate safely in diverse weather and height conditions.

Benefits
This position is based anywhere in the U.S. but involves up to 90% travel, with assignments lasting an average of 8‑18 months per project. A company vehicle, fuel card or allowance, per diem, mobilization support, and one longer weekend every four weeks are provided to offset living expenses. Compensation ranges from $130,000 to $180,000 annually, complemented by performance‑based merit increases, 401(k) matching, an employee stock purchase plan, and a full suite of medical, dental, vision, and wellness benefits.
