About the Role

• Build and lead regional staff while maintaining high client satisfaction. • Generate new revenue and expand existing streams by tracking leads, forecasting pipelines, and developing winning strategies. • Develop and deepen a network of prospective clients, architects, PM/CM firms, and general contractors. • Stay abreast of regional and national market trends to keep the team technically advanced. • Facilitate internal information sharing for staffing and project pursuits across practice areas and geographies. • Ensure technical excellence of project delivery and resolve complex issues. • Create, review, and coordinate the regional practice area business plan aligned with national life science and healthcare strategies. • Coordinate goals with the national team to execute the overall business plan. • Develop strategies to penetrate new clients, increase national sales, and secure higher‑margin work. • Oversee project financials and maintain inter‑office/client reporting structures. • Target annual revenue generation of $1 million to $3 million on average over two years. • Articulate the firm’s value proposition to distinguish the market segment. • Lead and support integrated‑services sales presentations. • Act as a leader and problem‑solver to deliver exceptional life‑science projects. • Author articles, white papers, and present at industry conferences and events. • Recruit senior staff with market‑specific experience and provide leadership to new hires.

What You Bring

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience). • Possess 15+ years of life‑science design experience, including at least 5 years in consulting engineering or A/E firms. • Minimum of 7 years of management experience and 7+ years of business development for engineering. • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of MEP systems; PE registration is highly desired. • Exhibit strong teamwork, independent work capability, and excellent organizational skills.
