About the Role

The specialist assists with large proposals and leads small‑to‑medium proposals from capture through interview, coordinating schedules, templates, compliance, and content production while providing conceptual leadership for document design and serving as lead writer/editor for resumes and past‑performance sections. Additional duties include facilitating Pink and Red team reviews, applying lessons learned, managing revisions, participating in go/no‑go and greenlight analyses, completing internal debriefs, ensuring compliance with quality, legal, and contract procedures, liaising with technical and business development teams, guiding entry‑level staff, and performing self‑checks before submission. • Assist with large proposals and lead small‑to‑medium proposals from capture to interview stage. • Coordinate proposal schedules, templates, compliance requirements, and content production. • Provide conceptual leadership for document design and serve as lead writer/editor for resumes and past‑performance sections. • Facilitate Pink and Red team reviews, integrate lessons learned, and manage proposal revisions. • Participate in go/no‑go and greenlight analyses in line with delegation of authority guidelines. • Conduct internal debriefs and review client feedback to drive continuous improvement. • Ensure compliance with company quality, legal, contracts, and signatory procedures. • Liaise with business lines, operations, technical, and business development teams to develop marketing materials such as case studies and capability summaries. • Mentor and guide entry‑level proposal team members. • Perform self‑checks of work before submitting for review or approval. • Maintain organizational and administrative expertise, managing documents and deliverables on schedule. • Exercise discretion with confidential or sensitive information.

What You Bring

Minimum qualifications are a bachelor’s degree and two years of marketing‑proposal experience (or equivalent). Preferred qualifications include a communications or marketing degree, knowledge of the A/E industry, marketing best practices, strong skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, familiarity with collaborative tools and CRM (Salesforce a plus), and proven organizational and discretionary abilities. • Hold a bachelor's degree and at least two years of proposal‑marketing experience (or equivalent). • Demonstrate strong proposal and presentation writing and production skills. • Possess proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop). • Use collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint; familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce. • Exhibit initiative, multitasking ability, and commitment to completing tasks to full completion.
