Senior Construction Project Manager

About the Role

The Senior Construction Project Manager joins the Global Design and Construction team of over 200 professionals that deliver more than 70 projects worldwide each year, managing over $2 B in capital expenditures. This role leads day‑to‑day activities of Construction/Operations Project Managers, mentors junior staff, and makes tactical decisions to resolve project issues across the full data‑center lifecycle. Key duties include directing internal and external project teams, overseeing project risk, ensuring safety and quality standards, and managing vendor relationships and contract administration. The manager also supports the development of training programs, maintains best‑in‑class policies, and drives project closure and lessons‑learned processes. • Guide Construction/Operations Project Managers and set team goals. • Manage multiple construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. • Oversee project risk registers and drive risk mitigation. • Direct external vendors (contractors, design teams, commissioning agents, equipment suppliers) for each project. • Develop and support training programs and cross‑functional training initiatives. • Administer contracts, including generation, review, change orders, cost forecasts, and liaison with authorities. • Lead internal and external project teams across design, procurement, operations, commercial, and IT/network functions. • Maintain and improve policies, procedures, and project closure/lessons‑learned processes.

What You Bring

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field (or equivalent experience). • Possess 10+ years of construction project management experience in critical infrastructure such as data centers, pharma, or biotech. • Based in Miami, able to work on‑site or in the office at least three days per week. • Demonstrate customer focus, self‑motivation, flexibility, and strong knowledge of statutory regulations and industry best practices. • Experience with construction procurement methodologies; preferred proficiency in Microsoft Project and leading cross‑functional teams.

Benefits

The position is based in Miami with a target base salary range of $136,000‑$204,000, plus eligibility for bonus and equity.
