About the Role
In this position you will coat, clean, and finish a limited variety of parts according to detailed instructions, manage solution formulas and temperatures, and maintain production records and material consumption. You will also operate heat‑treating furnaces for ferrous and non‑ferrous metals, perform hardness checks, conduct preventive maintenance, and handle coating equipment for various sized rivets. • Adjust and monitor solution formulas, temperatures, and cleaning methods. • Maintain production records and track coating/material consumption. • Load, unload, and operate tumbling barrels, rinsers, dryers, and industrial vehicles. • Operate heat‑treating furnaces, set cycles, monitor temperature, and perform hardness inspections. • Detect and report faulty furnace operations and conduct visual inspections. • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed. • Operate coating equipment for various sized rivets and similar products.
