About the Role
The Maintenance Technician at Glen Oaks is tasked with ensuring a high‑quality move‑in experience and resident satisfaction by delivering prompt, professional service for all maintenance requests. This role acts as a key point of contact for residents, representing Cushman & Wakefield with a customer‑focused attitude. • Prepare make‑ready apartments, including painting, carpet repair, cleaning, and general repairs. • Respond promptly and professionally to resident maintenance requests. • Perform plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal tasks. • Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities in clean, safe condition. • Participate in on‑call schedule for after‑hour emergency repairs. • Report maintenance issues in vacant units, model homes, and common areas to the supervisor. • Follow state, local, and federal fair housing laws and company safety procedures. • Attend required training programs and adhere to uniform and professional appearance standards. • Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality, reporting any tardiness to supervisor. • Read and interpret policy manuals, safety rules, and maintenance instructions. • Perform basic math calculations and prepare routine reports and correspondence.

What You Bring
The position operates primarily in a professional office setting but requires regular travel between property sites and exposure to varying weather conditions. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers are used daily, and the technician must be prepared to work outdoors as needed. Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 pounds regularly. The employee may be required to be on‑call for after‑hour emergencies and should be able to work both indoors and outdoors for up to 10 % of the time. • Hold a valid driver’s license and EPA 608 Type II certification (or local equivalent).

Benefits
