About the Role

The company seeks a detail‑oriented Project Manager to support planning, execution, and delivery of power utility construction projects. The role involves coordinating resources, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring projects finish on time, within scope, and comply with safety and regulatory standards. • Manage planning and scheduling of electrical distribution, transmission, and substation construction activities. • Coordinate daily operations with field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and utility clients. • Monitor project progress, budget, and timelines; report variances and recommend corrective actions. • Maintain project documentation such as contracts, permits, change orders, and daily reports. • Assist in procurement and ensure timely material delivery to job sites. • Support compliance with local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations. • Attend project meetings and provide updates to internal and external stakeholders. • Conduct quality control inspections and aid in punch‑list development and closeout documentation. • Track cost, billing, and prepare project invoices. • Use Earned Value Management to assess cost and schedule variances and forecast performance. • Prepare and present financial and performance reports, including cost‑to‑complete and earned value metrics.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Minimum 2 years of construction project coordination experience, preferably in utility infrastructure. • Familiarity with utility standards, NESC codes, and safety protocols (OSHA, DOT). • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Primavera, Procore, or similar project management software preferred. • Strong communication, organizational, and time‑management skills. • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed. • Preferred: experience with investor‑owned utilities or municipal power companies, knowledge of permitting, easement coordination, utility relocation, and certifications such as PMP or OSHA 30.
