About the Role
The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations at a property. This includes daily onsite attendance, showing units, qualifying prospects, completing leasing paperwork, and handling resident complaints while supporting retention programs and community events. • Show, lease, and move‑in prospective residents; qualify, tour, and sign leases. • Generate and follow up on leads, schedule appointments, and maintain model units. • Complete leasing paperwork and assist with lease audits, unit walk‑throughs, and turnover processes. • Track prospect traffic and respond to leads within 24 hours. • Apply sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic, maintain closing ratios, and meet leasing goals. • Perform administrative tasks and address resident complaints, requests, and retention initiatives. • Assist in implementing annual marketing plans and conduct weekly market surveys. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor service‑request turnaround, and project a favorable community image. • Enforce community policies as delegated by the supervisor. • Perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, lifting up to 25 lb, and working overtime, weekends, and in various environmental conditions.
