About the Role

Buyers support or lead purchasing activities for key project materials, manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms, coordinate logistics, and act as the primary liaison between internal teams and vendors. They identify risks, use ERP systems to track data, resolve delivery issues, and contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives, while Senior Buyers lead high‑value negotiations and mentor junior staff. • Source, negotiate, and purchase critical project materials and equipment. • Build and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality, compliance, and performance. • Coordinate logistics to deliver materials on time and within budget. • Act as primary liaison between internal teams and suppliers, providing clear updates. • Identify procurement risks and implement alternate sourcing or expediting solutions. • Utilize ERP systems to track procurement data, monitor inventory, and ensure accuracy. • Resolve supplier or delivery issues in collaboration with stakeholders to keep projects on schedule. • Lead high‑value negotiations, mentor junior buyers, and shape broader sourcing strategies (Senior level). • Apply strong Excel and ERP (SAP, Oracle, JDE) skills for data analysis and reporting. • Participate in weekly pay, mentoring programs, and career‑growth opportunities.

What You Bring

Entry‑level Buyers require 0–5 years of procurement experience, mid‑level 5–10 years, and Senior Buyers need over 10 years with progressive responsibility. A bachelor’s degree in supply‑chain, business, finance, or a related field is required, with certifications such as APICS, CPP, CPIM, or CSCP preferred. Candidates must demonstrate strong Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with MRP/ERP platforms like SAP or Oracle. They need solid negotiation, planning, problem‑solving, communication, and multitasking abilities, along with business acumen, decision‑making skills, and willingness to travel up to 25% with a valid driver’s license. • Demonstrate effective negotiation, planning, problem‑solving, and communication abilities. • Travel up to 25% as required, holding a valid driver’s license.
