About the Role
The Treating Engineer assistant role supports all Treating Engineer duties, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining equipment, handling chemicals safely, and complying with waste-disposal protocols. The position also involves operating forklifts and front-end loaders, completing daily records, and contributing to the company’s safety program. • Support Treating Engineer duties and maintain production levels • Operate forklift and limited front-end loader • Complete daily required records accurately • Clean and grease trams and drip pads • Handle, store, and dispose of hazardous waste • Assist with lock-out/tag-out and confined-space procedures • Mix chemicals, preservatives, and oil safely • Perform preventative maintenance and assist repairs • Contribute to the company safety program • Complete Continuous Education Units to maintain pesticide certification

What You Bring
Candidates must complete plant safety orientation, obtain state pesticide certification, and pass respiratory and medical exams.
