CNC Setup Operator

About the Role

The operator will set up and adjust CNC machines, follow production schedules, conduct in‑process inspections, perform routine maintenance, and accurately document work while complying with the Quality Management System. • Set up and adjust CNC machinery to meet job specifications • Read and follow production schedules, work orders, and sequences • Assess machine operation indicators to identify potential equipment failures • Troubleshoot and resolve set‑up problems • Interpret drawings and item attributes and follow routings • Perform in‑process inspections according to required protocols • Maintain product specifications using appropriate inspection equipment • Conduct routine operator maintenance as needed • Select and use grinding wheels and required tooling correctly • Dress, maintain, and balance grinding wheels as required • Accurately complete job documentation and shop‑floor data collection • Adhere to all aspects of the Quality Management System • Stand, sit, or remain in physically demanding positions for extended periods • Assist in training additional employees
