About the Role

The Assistant Project Lead – Project and Development Services role in Chennai works closely with the project manager or senior project manager to drive project success. You will own small projects, support larger ones, and lead the organisational structure, ensuring streamlined reporting, communication and clear objectives. Building strong client relationships is a core responsibility. You will identify client needs, balance them with JLL’s business objectives, seek cross‑selling opportunities, and manage project revenue and payment cycles to avoid bad debt. You will manage professional consultants for design and documentation, administer vendor contracts in line with legal requirements, identify project risks and implement mitigation measures, and keep health, safety and sustainability front‑of‑mind. • Engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders, seeing from their perspective. • Apply a structured and organised approach to all tasks. • Lead small projects and support larger initiatives. • Streamline project organisational structure, reporting and communication. • Produce project reports, analyses and reviews for meetings. • Forecast and manage project budgets and expenditures. • Build strong client relationships and balance client with JLL interests. • Identify cross‑selling opportunities across JLL business lines. • Manage consultants and vendor contracts, ensuring legal compliance. • Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures. • Utilise JLL digital platforms to enhance project management.
