About the Role

The Leasing Consultant handles all aspects of leasing, marketing, and resident relations for a property, ensuring a positive experience for prospective and current residents. • Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour, and sign leases. • Generate leads, schedule appointments, conduct tours, maintain model units, and follow up to close sales. • Complete all leasing paperwork and assist with lease audits, unit walk‑throughs, and turnover process. • Maintain accurate prospect traffic data and respond to leads within 24 hours. • Apply sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic, improve closing ratios, and meet/exceed leasing goals. • Perform administrative tasks and address resident complaints, concerns, and requests. • Help develop and execute resident retention programs such as events, promotions, and newsletters. • Support office, common area, and model unit upkeep and cleaning. • Assist in implementing the annual marketing plan and conduct ongoing market surveys/analysis. • Keep thorough knowledge of property, competition, and market conditions; submit weekly market reports. • Deliver excellent customer service, monitor service request turnaround, and uphold community image. • Enforce community policies as delegated by supervisor.

What You Bring

Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer proficiency, and familiarity with Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. The role requires regular onsite presence, physical activity such as climbing ladders and lifting up to 25 lb, and flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or night hours as needed. Compensation ranges from $18 to $20 per hour plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) matching, and performance bonuses. • Minimum requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent; basic computer skills; knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA.
