About the Role

The analyst will support the GMD Architecture and Requirements team, updating element specifications, interpreting and decomposing DoD requirements, reviewing architectural and engineering design submittals, and conducting trade studies to align facility requirements across system architectures and contracts. • Update GMD element specification requirements and verify industry‑provided evidence. • Interpret and decompose DoD requirements, ensuring alignment with DoD regulations and MDA standards. • Review architectural and engineering design submittals (35%, 65%, 95% design reviews) for technical and functional compliance. • Conduct trade studies and requirements analysis to align facility needs across system architectures and contracts.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and bring at least seven years of DoD systems‑engineering experience, including three years focused on facilities, system requirements, and verification, and possess an active Secret clearance. Experience with Unified Facilities Criteria, MIL‑SPECs, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to document technical information are required. • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of DoD systems‑engineering experience. • Active Secret clearance and 3+ years of facilities, system requirements, and verification experience. • Proficiency in interpreting Unified Facilities Criteria, MIL‑SPECs, and other DoD standards. • Excellent verbal and written communication for documenting detailed technical information. • STEM bachelor’s degree preferred. • Familiarity with MDA systems‑engineering processes and requirement‑management tools. • Knowledge of Ground‑based Midcourse Defense technical architecture. • Prior MDA systems‑engineering experience highly desired.
