About the Role
The Sales Manager leads the planning, organization, direction, and coordination of the sales function for an assigned division, executing strategies that maximize volume, drive profitable growth, and develop the sales staff professionally. In this role you will develop comprehensive business, sales, and marketing plans aligned with the unit's operating plan, maintain sales forecasts and accountability for key metrics, and lead a team of sales and administrative personnel through hiring, training, coaching, and performance management, including weekly ride‑alongs. You will support new customer solicitation, bid preparation, and retention efforts, monitor the sales funnel via the CRM, review performance against goals, proactively address account needs, collaborate on pricing strategy, and stay informed of market and competitive trends to anticipate customer requirements. • Develop and execute business, sales, and marketing strategies aligned with unit operating plan • Create sales forecasts, track key metrics, and ensure achievement of sales goals and budgets • Lead a team of sales and administrative staff; handle hiring, training, coaching, and performance management; conduct weekly ride‑alongs • Assist with new customer solicitation, bid preparation, and customer retention initiatives • Review sales funnel in CRM, monitor performance versus goals, and identify training needs • Proactively engage assigned accounts to address needs, changes, or issues • Collaborate with business unit leadership on pricing strategy to meet company objectives • Monitor market behavior and competitive trends to anticipate changing customer needs • Provide product and pricing expertise to sales personnel as needed • Generate timely sales reports and review customer service agreements for accuracy

What You Bring
The position requires at least five years of experience supervising sales teams, strong communication and active‑listening skills, a results‑oriented mindset, and the ability to solve problems logically. Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED, with three years of progressive sales experience and a valid driver’s license; the territory covers Cincinnati, Dayton, OH, and Covington, KY, overseeing ten outside sales representatives.

Compensation includes a salary range of $99,800 to $137,300 plus an annual incentive target of 25% of base, and the role offers a comprehensive benefits package.
