About the Role
A Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services. The driver must ensure the vehicle complies with the company’s safety standards and all applicable state and federal regulations, completing daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. Key duties include performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, reading route sheets, loading and compacting refuse, and delivering it to designated disposal sites. The driver interacts professionally with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers, tags unsatisfactory containers, manages waste spills according to safety policies, and keeps the vehicle clean and operational to minimize downtime. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete daily VCRs. • Operate the collection truck safely along assigned routes, loading refuse and using the compactor. • Read route sheets, follow maps, and service each customer as directed. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and colleagues; tag unsatisfactory containers. • Clean and contain accidental waste spills in accordance with safety standards. • Monitor vehicle condition, clean packer blade and truck body after each disposal trip. • Complete route, productivity, and other required reports to meet departmental standards. • Adhere to all company, state, and federal safety regulations and participate in the ReSOP program.

What You Bring
The minimum requirement is a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement.
