About the Role
The Lead IoT Systems Engineer will spearhead the integration of intelligence, connectivity, and smart‑home capabilities into Delta's water products. This role involves shaping product architecture, guiding cross‑functional teams, and delivering end‑to‑end IoT solutions that enhance water efficiency, quality, and user experience in modern kitchens and bathrooms. • Lead technical architecture for cloud, mobile, and embedded IoT products. • Align product ecosystem with smart‑home consortia and coordinate partners. • Drive smart‑home water products from concept through production. • Communicate architecture using frameworks such as DoDAF, Zachman, and TOGAF. • Provide strategic technology direction, sourcing, implementation, and support. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to design system‑wide solutions. • Produce documentation and coordinate across engineering disciplines. • Manage product requirements, verification, DFMEA, and P‑Diagrams in both waterfall and agile environments. • Work with product managers and leadership to define requirements and goals. • Ensure product lifecycle longevity beyond initial launch. • Deliver projects on schedule with predictable design and verification phases. • Coordinate updates and capability enhancements for existing production products. • Supervise cloud performance monitoring, cost control, and scalable infrastructure. • Lead continuous improvement initiatives driven by customer feedback. • Define and maintain IoT data schemas for product functionality and monetization.

What You Bring
• Hold a BS in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Possess 10+ years of systems engineering experience on complex end‑to‑end IoT solutions. • Knowledge of INCOSE practices (certification preferred). • Experience with firmware, mobile and cloud applications, BLE/Wi‑Fi/Thread connectivity, and cybersecurity. • Expertise in OTA updates for battery‑powered devices. • Familiarity with Azure IoT Hub, cloud‑native services, Matter, and C2C extensions.
