Job Highlights
About the Role
• Lead mechanical design of material handling systems, including conveyors, chutes, and feeders. • Perform calculations and design checks using engineering software and spreadsheets. • Model material flows and system performance using tools such as Sidewinder, Belt Analyst, Helix, or Rocky DEM. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver detailed design packages for mining and bulk material handling projects. • Ensure designs comply with client, industry, and safety standards. • Apply knowledge of Australian standards for mining bulk materials and fluids handling systems. • Work effectively in national and global teams to create innovative, efficient bulk material handling solutions.
