About the Role

The Houseperson position involves general public‑area cleaning and light maintenance in a hotel environment. The role is available on both full‑time and part‑time schedules. • Empty all trash receptacles and ashtrays in corridors and public areas • Clean outside walkways; sweep stairways and landings; clean railings and wash exit doors • Wash windows as scheduled • Spot‑clean walls and doors; remove cobwebs; clean fire extinguishers • Wipe baseboards, railings, phones, walls, and vending areas • Frequently check lobby and public restrooms for cleanliness and replenish supplies, especially during functions • Clean public restrooms • Interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly manner • Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance • Perform light physical labor including lifting, reaching, bending, stretching, and handling
