About the Role
The Strategic Account Manager, Multi‑family drives market share and profitable growth within the multi‑family housing segment by creating differentiated value for key decision makers. The role builds trusted, long‑term relationships with national and regional developers, owners, operators, and asset managers to shape specifications, influence buying decisions, and expand Delta Faucet’s presence across new construction, renovation, and MRO opportunities. Core responsibilities include developing and managing strategic accounts, influencing project specifications, and delivering tailored solutions through cross‑functional collaboration. The manager leads RFPs, provides product presentations and design consultations, and creates comprehensive sales and account plans that align with customer priorities and company objectives. Data analysis, strategic initiatives, and partnership with marketing, sales, and customer service teams ensure smooth execution and measurable business outcomes. • Build and nurture relationships with owners, developers, designers, and influencers in multi‑family housing. • Manage a portfolio of strategic accounts to drive specifications, brand preference, and revenue growth. • Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to deliver tailored solutions. • Lead RFPs and negotiations to secure and retain business. • Identify early‑design projects and influence specification decisions toward company products. • Deliver product presentations, CEUs, and design consultations. • Provide project support from concept through construction administration. • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and account plans with market analysis, revenue goals, and measurable outcomes. • Create account‑specific plans, set retention and new‑business targets, and execute strategic initiatives such as customer events. • Analyze data and trends to boost customer retention and drive revenue. • Secure new product specifications and expand existing opportunities for profitable growth. • Support marketing initiatives, trade shows, and product launches for the multi‑family segment. • Partner with project sales, regional sales, distribution, and customer service to ensure smooth execution. • Deliver Voice of Customer feedback to product development and marketing.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) and have at least five years of sales or sales‑management experience. Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills are required to assess market conditions, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
