About the Role
The Powder Coat Operator/Parts Hanger is responsible for preparing and correctly hanging all required industrial door parts onto a conveyor line system using the appropriate hangers. They also remove parts once fully cured, stage finished painted parts onto the proper carts by door number, and ensure they feed into the final assembly stations. • Prepare door parts using grinders, sanders, and cleaners. • Load and unload the paint line with appropriate hangers according to schedule. • Pull correct components for door kits and stage finished parts onto carts by door number. • Package and transport painted parts safely to the final‑assembly department. • Deliver completed products to designated departments on time. • Prioritize tasks and manage time to complete daily responsibilities within shift hours. • Assist in other areas as directed to support overall operations. • Apply basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) for measurements and inventory.

A high school diploma or GED is desired, though two to four years of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable. This flexibility allows candidates with practical on‑the‑job knowledge to qualify for the position. • Lift up to 50 lb regularly and perform bending, twisting, and squatting throughout the shift. • Multitask efficiently during peak periods while maintaining productivity and teamwork. • Demonstrate strong product knowledge and attention to detail. • Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, and follow simple instructions.
