About the Role

Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include delivering concept studies, transport statements, assessments, travel plans, parking and access studies, and supporting projects through planning applications and post‑permission works. You will foster collaborative relationships with clients, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams, maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of standards, and mentor technical staff as needed. • Deliver concept studies, transport statements, assessments, travel plans, parking and access studies for development projects. • Provide specialist transport advice to private sector and local authority clients on residential and mixed‑use developments. • Lead client relationships, stakeholder engagement, and multidisciplinary design coordination. • Manage project budgets, programmes, technical standards, and legal requirements. • Mentor and support junior technical staff within the team.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold a numerate degree in Transport, Civil Engineering, Planning or a related field, possess extensive experience delivering transport planning projects, and be proficient with junction modelling software such as Junctions 9, PICADY, ARCADY, or Linsig. Strong communication, financial and programme management, line‑management experience, and progress toward chartership are also required. • Hold a numerate degree in Transport, Civil Engineering, Planning or related field with extensive transport planning experience. • Proficient in junction modelling software (e.g., Junctions 9, PICADY, ARCADY, Linsig) and able to mentor others. • Demonstrated financial and programme management skills and experience in line management.
