About the Role
The Field Chemist I facilitates the Lab Pack Program, Household Hazardous Waste (HHW), and other field activities by providing on‑site services such as characterization, packaging, handling, and transportation of waste while maintaining safety, meticulous attention to detail, profitability, and efficiency. Principal responsibilities include delivering lab‑packing services at customer sites, sampling and characterizing hazardous and non‑hazardous waste, generating waste profiles for end‑user facilities, preparing price quotes, maintaining detailed inventory, transporting waste to end‑user or transfer facilities, completing internal paperwork for accurate invoicing, assisting with waste off‑loading, de‑packing, consolidating waste, and providing technical support.

What You Bring
Preferred qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or environmental science (or equivalent experience), solid knowledge of basic chemistry, the ability to interpret regulations and technical documentation, basic business math and accounting skills, and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
