About the Role
• Develop innovative solutions for complex roadway and highway engineering challenges. • Ensure designs meet Federal, State, and local agency requirements and industry standards. • Prepare specifications, estimates, quantity calculations, technical reports, and detailed analyses. • Review supplier drawing submittals and perform technical bid analyses. • Generate and issue specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents. • Contribute to project teams or act as design engineer on intermediate to large-scale projects. • Manage multiple roadway and highway projects simultaneously.

Interns will enhance their engineering technical skills through direct mentorship and collaboration with a world‑class team of infrastructure design experts, gaining invaluable experience on major regional projects. • Complete coursework in transportation or structural engineering and be enrolled in a Civil or Structural Engineering degree program. • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills. • Proficient with MS Office, CAD software (MicroStation preferred), and engineering analysis tools. • Hold Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification (desired). • Possess prior internship experience (desired).
