About the Role
• Partner with plant project managers to improve project and order visibility. • Implement project‑controlling processes for cost variance and statutory reporting. • Collaborate with North America Operations and GSC to drive transformation. • Provide end‑to‑end project analysis for GSC operations and Power Systems teams. • Deliver finance business partner functions focusing on CSC, labor, and freight. • Manage internal controls, including monthly KIC cross‑audits and lifecycle checks. • Perform variance analysis of estimates, actuals, and forecasts to inform decisions. • Support inventory control activities such as E&O, cycle counts, and WIP analysis. • Influence operations teams and stakeholders outside direct reporting lines. • Apply solid supply‑chain knowledge to financial performance and controls.

What You Bring
Schneider Electric has an onsite opportunity (5 days a week) for a Plant Project Controller based in Columbia or Seneca, SC, supporting the North America GSC ETO plants. The role requires daily on‑site presence, with occasional remote work on an as‑needed basis, and includes periodic travel between the two South Carolina plants. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA/CPA a plus. • Possess 2+ years of manufacturing‑controlling or related financial experience. • Demonstrate strong Excel, PowerPoint, HFM/Hyperion/Essbase, SAP, and SQL skills. • Communicate clearly and build cross‑functional partnerships at all levels. • Be self‑directed and capable of advancing tasks independently. • Experience with process or procedural transformations is preferred. • Background in supply‑chain operations support and ERP systems like SAP. • Aspiration to grow toward a Plant Finance Business Partner or Plant Controller role.
