About the Role

The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, as well as installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment throughout the building. • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. • Complete preventative maintenance routines and document them accurately. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on material handling equipment, including belts, motors, photo‑eyes, and relays. • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, parts used, and inventory. • Mentor junior technicians to support their growth and development. • Maintain positive working relationships across the entire operations facility.

What You Bring

The role requires physical capabilities such as reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, using aerial lifts, and regularly lifting up to 50 lb, while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and working in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures. • High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems. • 2+ years experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures. • 1+ year experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics. • Proficient with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project). • Preferred: associate degree in mechanical or electrical field; knowledge of MHE safety standards; experience with robotic operation and maintenance. • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, work overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, and use aerial lifts.
