About the Role
The Sewerage Inspector supervises, inspects and controls the quality of all sewerage network works on‑site, working under the Resident Engineer (Wet Services) or Assistant Resident Engineer. The role ensures that excavation, pipe laying, manhole construction and connections comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and authority standards such as ADSSC and ADM, while maintaining detailed records and supporting timely, compliant project delivery. • Conduct daily site inspections of trench excavation, bedding, pipe installation, jointing, manhole construction and backfilling to ensure compliance with drawings and standards. • Verify that all pipes, fittings, manhole components and concrete materials are approved, properly stored, handled and traceable. • Witness and record field tests such as water/air pressure, leakage and watertightness, and verify CCTV inspection results. • Maintain detailed daily inspection records, site photos, non‑conformity reports and ensure red‑line as‑built drawings are updated. • Coordinate with other discipline inspectors and communicate inspection findings to the Resident Engineer and contractor foremen. • Monitor contractor compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures during excavation, confined‑space work and lifting operations. • Maintain strong knowledge of project specifications, sewerage standards (ADSSC, ADM, ASTM, BS EN) and perform duties with professionalism and integrity. • Participate in final inspections, snagging, verify rectification works and support review of O&M manuals, test certificates and as‑built documentation.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience, including at least 3 years in the UAE.
