About the Role
The MEP Manager leads Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing services for construction projects from design through commissioning, ensuring systems meet design intent, quality standards, timelines, safety, and budget. Collaboration with architects, structural engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients is essential to deliver integrated building systems. The role encompasses overseeing MEP planning and design review, coordinating with design consultants to ensure code compliance, managing on‑site activities for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, and BMS, and supervising subcontractors to meet approved drawings and safety standards. Responsibilities also include conducting inspections, reviewing material submittals, controlling budgets, approving vendor quotations, and leading testing and commissioning to provide complete handover documentation. The manager guides a team of MEP engineers and site supervisors, providing technical mentorship and serving as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders. • Lead MEP planning, design review, and integration with architectural and structural works. • Coordinate with consultants and ensure compliance with codes and project specifications. • Supervise on‑site MEP installations (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, BMS) and monitor subcontractors. • Conduct quality inspections, review submittals, and enforce safety and statutory regulations. • Prepare and control MEP budgets, approve vendor quotes, and implement value engineering to prevent cost overruns. • Plan, oversee testing and commissioning, and deliver handover documentation and O&M manuals. • Manage and mentor a team of MEP engineers and site supervisors across multiple projects. • Act as primary liaison with clients and stakeholders, providing progress reports and resolving design conflicts.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (master’s preferred) with over ten years of MEP design and project‑management experience in large commercial, industrial or residential projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Project/Primavera, along with strong leadership, cost control, and client‑communication skills, is required. • Hold a bachelor’s (or master’s) degree in mechanical/electrical engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience. • Demonstrate expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, ELV systems and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Project/Primavera. • Exhibit strong leadership, client communication, and vendor/subcontractor management skills.
