What You Bring
Clarion Housing Group is seeking an experienced carpenter who also possesses skills in additional trades. The successful candidate will deliver first‑class maintenance services to properties across the listed locations and surrounding areas. As a Multi‑Trade Operative you will carry out a wide range of tasks, including routine maintenance, responsive repairs, void works and property MOTs, drawing on both your primary carpentry expertise and any secondary trade abilities. Work must be completed efficiently and within agreed deadlines. Applicants must be reliable, have a solid background in carpentry with supplementary trade experience, and demonstrate strong customer‑care skills. A valid UK driving licence is required, as a company vehicle will be provided for work use, and the role is subject to a basic criminal‑record check. The position offers a salary between £36,000 and £41,000, plus a company‑provided van, tools, a bonus scheme and regular overtime. It is based in the West Midlands, covering Walsall, Tamworth and Stoke‑on‑Trent, with a 40‑hour week on a permanent contract.
