About the Role
As a Diesel Mechanic you will service trucks and equipment that support over 20 million customers nationwide, using modern tools to maintain diesel and, at some locations, CNG fleets. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems • Estimate time and material costs for repairs and parts • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs) • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls • Conduct safety checks on all vehicles • Complete paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times • Assist senior mechanics with project work • Review and address items on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports • Maintain a clean, safe work area per corporate and OSHA standards

What You Bring
Safety is paramount; mechanics perform rigorous vehicle safety checks, maintain clean work areas, and adhere to corporate and OSHA standards while collaborating as a team and working independently. • Minimum 2 years relevant mechanical experience • Valid driver’s license with clean record • At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S. • Ability to meet physical demands with or without reasonable accommodations • Pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical exam • Team‑oriented attitude and ability to work independently • Enjoy variety and problem‑solving challenges • Physical demands include frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing, standing, walking, and occasional sitting • Exposure to cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes
