About the Role

In this role you will act as an industrial‑automation specialist, building optimized architectures that meet customer and system‑integrator needs. This requires broad technical knowledge of automation technologies, network principles, hardware and software systems, and the ability to migrate or interconnect with legacy offers. A strong commercial sense enables you to serve as the technical backbone for sales, explaining strengths, weaknesses and differentiators clearly. Daily duties include delivering front‑ and back‑office pre‑sales support, joining sales teams on customer visits, and assisting end users, system integrators and consulting engineers. You will introduce Schneider’s EcoStruxure architectures, create demos and proof‑of‑concepts, and act as the primary technical interface for system and solution design. You will also address deep technical questions, advise on integration and performance limits, and help shape the value proposition that closes deals. • Deliver front‑office and back‑office technical assistance to the sales organization. • Design and fine‑tune automation architectures—including PLC, VFD, HMI, SCADA, and analytics—to satisfy customer and partner requirements. • Conduct on‑site customer visits, job walks, and develop demonstration or proof‑of‑concept setups. • Advise on system integration, migration, and interconnectivity with Schneider’s legacy and EcoStruxure platforms. • Articulate technical benefits and differentiators to support the sales team’s commercial arguments. • Collaborate with global SAE/PAE networks, share best practices, and contribute to webinars and success‑story libraries. • Travel up to 30 % of the time to support regional and national opportunities.

Travel is required for about 30 % of the time to support regional and national opportunities. Reporting to Louis Arone, US Manager of the Systems and Architectures Team, you will need at least five years of experience with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, SCADA and analytics, plus knowledge of AVEVA tools. The role demands the ability to design optimized automation solutions for customers and channel partners. • Required experience: minimum five years with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, SCADA, analytics, and familiarity with AVEVA software; strong commercial acumen and teamwork orientation.
