About the Role
The technician will maintain the physical condition of the community by addressing repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring vacant units are ready for occupancy, while adhering to safety standards. • Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware, masonry, painting, water features, and waste management systems. • Complete service requests and repairs promptly according to company standards. • Prepare vacant apartments for rent and perform turnkey work as needed. • Conduct regular preventative maintenance on apartments. • Assist with interior and exterior painting projects. • Maintain an incident‑ and injury‑free safety culture by following all safety policies and reporting hazards. • Perform hot‑works tasks such as brazing, soldering, and welding within company standards. • Provide excellent customer service through clear communication with associates and residents. • Read and follow key policies, including Key Control, Apartment Turnover, and Maintenance Emergency procedures. • Identify and safely handle cleaning chemicals and understand Hazard Communication SDS requirements.

What You Bring
• Possess 2‑3 years of maintenance experience covering HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs. • Hold a valid driver's license and be available for an on‑call rotation schedule. • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly. • Understand basic emergency system shutoffs and operation sequences. • Demonstrate knowledge of paint types and appropriate painting tools.
