About the Role
The Helo/T56 V&V Engineer (Systems Engineering and Verification Engineer) at Rolls‑Royce is tasked with providing oversight to ensure that our products satisfy business, customer and regulatory requirements. This integration role supports development, systems engineering and verification activities, coaching engineering teams to deliver robust, verified solutions that meet validated customer needs. In this position you will act as the primary interface between external and internal customers, eliciting and validating stakeholder requirements across business, technical and partner domains. You will guide the engineering program through architecture development, verification planning and risk‑based decision making while coaching teams on best V&V practices. • Create Enterprise Architecture solutions that meet both business and technical needs • Define Systems Engineering and Verification approach via a management plan such as a Configuration Management Plan • Establish and manage a R‑E‑D‑V structure linking requirements, design rationale, evidence, and verification across all project domains • Ensure rigorous requirements validation and verification to mitigate technical risk • Leverage R‑E‑D‑V health data from validation and verification to drive schedule and risk reduction • Develop product verification strategy, structured verification plan, and Product Development Plan • Define and deliver certification and qualification strategies for design‑authority organizations • Manage creation of substantiation evidence and clearance/acceptance documentation • Extract manufacturing, installation, test, and commissioning requirements from engineering teams • Define configuration hardware requirements to satisfy verification activities • Serve as point of contact to coach teams on Systems Engineering, Validation, and Verification, promoting proper V&V behaviors

What You Bring
