What You Bring
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to build and expand relationships with public‑sector clients at all government levels, represent HDR with national, regional, and local organizations to raise the firm’s profile, and monitor industry trends, policy changes, and financing opportunities. Preferred qualifications include a BS/MS in Planning, Engineering, or a related field, 25+ years of executive management and advisory experience in transportation policy and program development, experience with transit clients in North America and international markets, strong project delivery and risk‑assessment capabilities, and experience developing strategic marketing programs for planning or engineering services. Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 20 years consulting experience, strong analytical skills for summarizing information, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), excellent interpersonal and relationship‑management abilities, and a commitment to active participation in HDR’s employee‑owned, inclusive culture. • Hold BS/MS in Planning, Engineering, or a related field. • Possess 25+ years of executive management and advisory experience in transportation policy and program development. • Experience working with transit clients in North America and international markets. • Demonstrate strong project delivery, risk assessment, report writing, and on‑schedule implementation. • Minimum 20 years consulting experience with a bachelor’s degree in a related field. • Strong analytical skills to compile and present summary‑level information. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. • Excellent interpersonal, relationship, organizational, and follow‑up skills.
