About the Role

The manager will be responsible for establishing essential project documentation such as Project Management, Health and Safety, and Quality Assurance plans, assigning tasks based on team strengths, and negotiating scope changes with clients and subcontractors. They will also drive business development by securing additional work, maintaining client relationships, and coordinating career development and training for direct reports. • Plan, direct, supervise, and control execution of all project functions. • Forecast monthly revenue, labor costs, ODCs, and gross profit. • Develop and manage project budget and profitability. • Oversee project invoicing, billing, accounts receivable, and payable. • Establish and maintain Project Management, Health & Safety, and QA/QC plans. • Assign responsibilities to team members based on qualifications and strengths. • Negotiate scope changes with clients and subcontractors. • Market and secure additional work with clients. • Maintain client relationships and develop teaming partners. • Create career development plans, training, and staffing for project staff. • Participate in professional organizations, conferences, and staff presentations. • Collaborate with engineers and discipline leads on budgets, schedules, and plans. • Implement corrective actions for cost overruns or schedule delays. • Maintain current change orders and ensure technical/commercial excellence. • Report project progress, milestones, and risks to management. • Represent the company with clients and selected subcontractors. • Participate in proposal development, client meetings, and presentations. • Identify business development opportunities and track project pipeline. • Provide effective leadership in a management capacity.
