About the Role
The role offers autonomy to shape the U.S. Mining & Metals portfolio, backed by a global organization and tied to significant financial upside. Responsibilities include collaborating with global teams, engaging clients and partners, building capability, maintaining a strong recruitment pipeline, and driving turnover to $45 million by FY 2026. • Define and execute the business unit strategy for the U.S. Mining & Metals market. • Own full profit and loss accountability, driving revenue growth and margin improvement. • Recruit, mentor and lead a high‑performing team, developing sub‑regional directors and technical leaders. • Generate and convert a robust pipeline of opportunities through client and alliance engagement. • Build service propositions and capabilities to support expansion into clean‑energy and transmission sectors. • Expand business beyond current key accounts to achieve $45 million turnover by FY 2026. • Ensure service delivery meets or exceeds client expectations via reviews and assurance activities. • Maintain a pipeline of potential recruits and justify speculative hiring when needed. • Represent the business unit externally to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.

What You Bring
Ideal candidates bring 20+ years of mining and metals experience, having led projects or programs exceeding $10 billion, with proven P&L management, sales and negotiation skills, and exposure to both client and contractor environments. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management is required, with an Executive MBA preferred, along with strong communication and board‑level presentation abilities. • Provide 20+ years of mining & metals experience, including leadership of projects/programs over $10 billion. • Demonstrate a proven track record of P&L management and delivering aggressive growth targets. • Exhibit strong sales, business development and high‑stakes negotiation abilities. • Possess experience across project controls, PM services and commercial function setup in multiple sectors. • Show onshore/offshore and multicultural environment experience, both client and contractor side. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field; Executive MBA preferred. • Exhibit exceptional communication, influencing and board‑level presentation skills.
